Thursday night was my showcase. If you don’t know what RAW Artists is, you can check it out here.

If you don’t feel like going elsewhere to read here is my quick rundown. RAW Artists, is a nonprofit organization committed to helping artists become as successful as they possibly can. They create these showcases in the local cities, and they promote it and try and get people out to support you. If those people like what they see, they might buy your things or request your services.

So the weeks before my showcase, I had to get lots of things ready, I had to pay back my debit to RAW in ticket sales, I ended up selling 23 tickets before the showcase which was great news for me.

The day of the show was extremely hectic. Being a makeup artist, I’m used to fast pace things, but this was seriously my first fashion show I’ve done. I had 17 artists to do makeup on and only about 3 hours. Lucky for me I had an amazing makeup artist come help me, her name is Bre Potter. She took on almost half the artists… we made excellent time. We got to work with this incredible salon called “Rita B” salon who did all the hair as well.

The fashion show was to showcase the fashion designers work who also was apart of RAW. You can find her here

After all was said and done, I went on stage with the designer, hairstylist, and the host and got a great introduction. And felt very important haha

Anyway, I think it’s a really great opportunity for every artist. I was really happy with the show. Also they are making me a media kit, so I will link that once that is all finished also. It includes video interviews and internet fliers.

NYX Contest - Philly Eagles

So I just decided to do a video on the contest entry I made for NYX Cosmetics.

I picked the Philadelphia Eagles. I don't watch football, but Josh does. (Josh is my boyfriend for those who don't know). Eagles are his favorite team. Plus their colors are beautiful :)

I haven't updated in a while, I've been so busy with school and work and makeup things. but I thought I'd throw something up here just because.

My hair is crazy this morning... so check that out!

Hi this is pretty much my first blog ever. I've been struggling with a topic to write about for a while now, but I just wanted to direct everyone and anyone who is reading this to a new site I'm very addicted to.
